About the Doctors

Philip J. DePasquale, D.D.S.

A graduate of Case Western Reserve University with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Philip J. DePasquale continued his education at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where he received his certificate in orthodontics. Dr. DePasquale has been practicing orthodontics since 1985 and currently serves as an associate clinical instructor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

Dr. DePasquale is Board Eligible with the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Litchfield County Dental Association and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honor Society).

Dr. DePasquale and his wife Patty have two boys, James and John. His favorite pastimes include, biking, skiing and water sports.

Mark R. Clauss D.M.D.

A native of Bristol Connecticut, Dr. Clauss received his DMD degree from Temple University in 2000. He completed a one year General Practice Residency in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 2001. Dr. Clauss practiced general dentistry in both Plainville and Litchfield Connecticut before returning to the University at Buffalo to pursue specialty training in orthodontics.

Dr. Clauss is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthodontics and is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Litchfield County Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Clauss and his wife Kelly, also a dentist, are pleased to make Connecticut their home. In his spare time Dr. Clauss enjoys skiing, golfing, and classic cars.
